A Dangerous Condition Leading to Vascular Occlusion

Deep vein thrombosis is a condition where blood clots form in the deep veins due to reduced calf muscle contractions. These clots can lead to serious vascular diseases such as pulmonary embolism, stroke, and myocardial infarction. Therefore, it is essential to prescribe treatments for DVT to surgical and long-term bedridden patients.
